The Gold Souk Gurgaon Mall is a speciality mall, the first of speciality malls in Gurgoan . Their primary specialization is jewelleries for women and men. Gold Souk has famous jewellers from India, jewellers who have been into this line of business since generations as family business, jewellers who are new into this stream and some world famous jewellers from outside India. Its located pretty far from all other malls, it is hard to reach there if you do not have your own conveyance. They are open since 2002, it has been more than 8 years now but the status of transportation is still the same. May be because they were sure about who they want into Gold Souk mall. However, the number of stores selling jewellery has increased considerably in tge last 8 years and it does not look they are doing bad.

The opening and closing time is different in Gold Souk, it opens pretty late and closes down quite early. But that makes sense if you consider the security issues around New Delhi and NCR region. Speaking about security, it's level is quite high in Gold Souk because of they fact that they are selling precious gems, stones, etc. You do not get to see usual security guards inside but commandos on some floors.
